About us

TSF Strategies reflects more than two decades of work inside schools, nonprofits, businesses, healthcare organizations and community initiatives. Each role gave me a different view of how organizations make decisions, communicate under pressure and turn an idea into work people can carry forward.

Meet our Founder

I began my career in education, working with students and communities in Louisiana and Haiti. Those early experiences taught me to pay attention to the environment around a problem: the people involved, the resources available and the difference between what an organization intends and what others experience.

My career later expanded into nonprofit leadership, business development, marketing and corporate communications. As communications director for a regional franchise company, I supported nine offices across five states and helped coordinate communications for annual conventions serving more than 500 franchisees. At St. Tammany Health System, I worked within a growing healthcare organization managing public communication, brand development, recruitment initiatives and projects extending across its hospital campus and community locations.

I have advised leaders, developed campaigns, built communication systems, created training and carried complex assignments through production. Working on both the strategic and creative sides of those projects taught me to evaluate an idea according to what it will require in practice.

I founded TSF Strategies to provide that combination of observation, counsel and execution to organizations that need experienced support beyond a single deliverable.

A broader perspective

Hurricane Katrina recovery, international service, nonprofit development and community outreach placed me in situations where formal authority carried limited weight. Progress depended on listening carefully, understanding local relationships and following through on what had been promised.

Co-founding 5 Stones Media added another dimension to that experience. Building an agency required me to develop business, guide clients, direct creative work and manage the operational demands behind every project. It also showed me how easily an appealing idea can become disconnected from the audience, budget or internal capacity required to sustain it.

These experiences affect the questions I ask and the conditions I examine before recommending a course of action. They allow me to consider the organization surrounding the assignment and develop work that accounts for the people responsible for implementing it.
