Every engagement begins with observation and conversation. We listen to leaders, employees and other stakeholders; review existing communications and plans; and examine how decisions, information and responsibilities move through the organization.

This often reveals a difference between the problem first presented and the constraint actually standing in the way. A communication issue may begin with competing leadership priorities. A campaign request may expose an unclear objective. Repeated delays may point to an approval process that no longer serves the work.

Once the challenge is understood, we help establish a clear direction and determine what the organization needs to move forward. The response may involve strategic planning, executive communication, stakeholder engagement, training, a campaign or another combination of services. The work follows the need rather than beginning with a predetermined deliverable.

As the strategy is implemented, we examine how people are responding and whether the work is producing the intended result. New information may require an adjustment, while early progress may reveal opportunities the organization could not see at the beginning.
